This editorial letter addresses the resumption of *Conservative Judaism* journal publication following an unplanned one-year hiatus. The methodology employed was a temporary reallocation of the Rabbinical Assembly's publication resources to prioritize the completion of *Mahzor Lev Shalem*, a significant liturgical work for the Conservative movement. The editor explains that this strategic decision, while resulting in an unexpected cessation of journal publication, was necessary to ensure the successful completion of the transformative prayer book project. The main findings indicate that the hiatus was justified by the anticipated impact of *Mahzor Lev Shalem* on enhancing the vitality of the Conservative movement as a whole.
