Shipping & Returns
Does the RA Bookstore ship outside of the US or Canada?
The RA Bookstore cannot guarantee international shipping to countries outside the US and Canada, as high costs and likelihood of loss are a concern. Many international customers choose to ship their books to individuals who are visiting the US or Canada so that they can bring them back to their home country in their luggage.
International shipping outside of the US and Canada is available on a case-by-case basis by direct request. All customers are required to accept full responsibility for orders once they are picked up from our warehouse, and we advise that customers who are ordering internationally take insurance as we cannot be held responsible for loss or non-delivery. To request international shipping, please email books@rabbinicalassembly.org.
Can I order my books for pick-up instead of shipping?
Yes! The RA Bookstore warehouse is located in Clifton, NJ. To arrange an order for pick-up, please contact books@rabbinicalassembly.org. Handling fees still apply.
Does the RA Bookstore accept returns?
The RA Bookstore strives to ensure all customers are satisfied. If there is a problem with your order, we will do our best to make it right! Please bear in mind that we are a small nonprofit bookstore with limited staff. Please double check your shipping address, and be sure that the books in your order are the books you need before you place your order.
Returns must be initiated within 10 days of delivery for store credit or a refund of the cost of the books to the original payment method, pending approval. Shipping costs are not eligible for a refund, and customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
To initiate a return, please email books@rabbinicalassembly.org.
What should I do if my books arrive damaged?
Books that are damaged during manufacturing or shipping may be eligible for partial or full refunds or replacements. To report damaged books & request refunds or replacement, please email books@rabbinicalassembly.org within 10 days of delivery.
Refunds or replacements due to damage are subject to approval by the Rabbinical Assembly Publications Department, & will be considered based on documentation provided by the customer.

Additional Resources
Do you have accessible versions of RA publications?
All of our weekday and Shabbat siddurim - as well as our Mahzor Lev Shalem - have large print editions.
For those with visual disabilities or for whom our physical books are difficult to use, the Rabbinical Assembly is happy to provide free digital copies of our publications for personal use. For more information, please contact books@rabbinicalassembly.org.
Additional Jewish texts and resources for those who are blind, have low vision, or are print disabled, are available through the JBI Library, which provides access to a vast circulating library, liturgical texts, customized materials, and cultural offerings. Contact JBI librarians via phone (212-545-8025) or email library@jbilibrary.org to learn more.
Does the RA Bookstore offer digital copies of any print publications?
The Rabbinical Assembly no longer authorizes general digital access to our publications. The digital distribution of content included in our publications violates our copyright agreements, and the proliferation of our publications online is jeopardizing our relationships with publishers and authors whose work we wish to honor. Moving forward, we are working to secure more complete rights for new publications, beginning with the forthcoming Siddur Lev Shalem for Weekdays.
To protect our copyright and the work of those who contributed to our publications, we are continuing to work on removing unprotected copies of our content that are available online. Distributing RA publications without authorization violates our copyright and endangers our relationships with those whose generous contributions brought these works to our community.
Can I find RA Publications in my local Judaica shop?
The RA Bookstore is proud to partner with a number of Judaica stores across the United States and around the world. For a complete list of our partner retailers, please visit our Find A Bookstore page.
