This document presents corrections to two scholarly articles published in Conservative Judaism (Winter 1992). The corrections employ a systematic methodology of identifying specific textual errors by precise location (page, paragraph, and sentence number) and providing complete corrected versions of the affected passages. The first set of corrections addresses errors in Pamela Tamarkin Reis's article "Dead Men Tell No Tales," focusing on biblical narrative analysis of the Joseph story, with corrections clarifying references to Joseph's sale into Egypt, his relationship with his brother Judah and Tamar, Joseph's character as a tattletale, and the emphasis on how Joseph's mere presence incited conspiracy among his brothers. The second correction pertains to Lifsa Schächter's article "Matzah: Symbol of the Miraculous," specifically addressing a sentence about the historical transformation of bread-making practices and the technological developments that affected the distinction between matzah and hametz. These corrections demonstrate standard academic practice in maintaining scholarly accuracy and integrity by formally acknowledging and rectifying published textual errors through precise bibliographic documentation and complete sentence reconstruction.
